Kitchen PantryA well stocked kitchen pantry is a cook's secret weapon.
Prepare your next dinner with style and never run out of
ingredients, herbs, spices, extracts, sauces, and all kinds of
foodstuff.
Doing any job is easier when you have the right tools on hand.
One of a cook's best tools -- and secret weapons -- is having a
well-stocked kitchen pantry.
Cooking is much simpler if you know that you've already got what
you need on hand, and aren't going to have to run to the corner
market every time you want ...

Buying TrancesI couldn't snap Billy out of his trance.
It happened over thirty years ago. I was a teenager fascinated
by the powers of the mind. I read about spirituality, psychic
phenomena, UFO's, past lives, present problems, the magic of
believing, and yes, even hypnosis.
And that helps explain why I had my best friend, Billy, in a
deep trance in the basement of my parent's home in Ohio. I had
regressed him from the age of 16 back to the age of four or
five. I had no business doing it. But I was curious ...

The FundamentalsSeveral thoughts run through one's head when they think of
French cooking. Visions of buttery goodness, heavy creams and
fancy displays. There is much more to French cooking than that;
France isn't just Paris after all.
French food has several fundamentals, such as the mire poix, the
bouquet garni or herb satchel and chicken stock.
The Fundamentals
A mire poix is 3 parts onion, 2 parts celery and one part
carrot. You'll find this in most French dishes with the
exception of fish and a few other ...

How to Cook A LobsterFrench chefs plunge them into boiling water; English ones, in an
attempt to appear more humane, drive kitchen knives through
their skulls before doing the same thing.
No wonder the miserable creatures go red. They're mad as hell.
What a way to treat the king of crustaceans.
Let's make a pact. From now on let's treat the lobster with the
respect (and humanity) it deserves. Here's how:
Use a pan deep enough to hold 6 liters of salted water to which
you have added some shredded onion, a garlic ...

Pope to bewitch Europe and mislead the masses!Watch for the pagan sorcerer-pope to start performing many supernatural deeds, counterfeit miracles, to mislead the masses and get them eating out of his hand to support the Vatican's elect to "defend" Europe and "Western Christian Civilization" and murder any who oppose them.
Daniel 11:36
The King Who Exalts Himself
36 "The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until ...

Why I no longer celebrate Christmas I was blessed to grow up in Risingsun, Ohio next door to my
Grandma and Grandpa Hoover on their farm that embraced where we
lived, surrounding us with its loving arms on both sides (until
the age of 11) and behind, with our woods over yonder a bit,
that I loved to walk through as a boy, always looking for my
"brother" hawk, circling overhead, to greet me.
Anyway, besides my parents, Grandma and Grandpa Hoover always
made sure we had a rich Christmas celebration, in every sense of
the word. We ...

Where Are The Christians? This article was written in 1993.
At my home congregation, we recently viewed the video series
called "Children At Risk" by Dr. James Dobson and Gary L. Bauer.
There is a companion book by the same title which is available
at local Christian book stores. The subtitle is "The Battle for
the Hearts and Minds of Our Kids." I highly recommend this book
and video series to anyone who has the same concerns for our
nation as I do. As I set there and listened to Dr. Dobson and
Mr. Bauer talk about the ...

Christians and the MoviesI am confident that most Christians want to do right and not go
beyond God's boundaries. However, from time to time, they find
themselves in situations not knowing what to do.
Which movies meet with God's approval is a problem for many
church-goers. No one probably would object to movies such as;
"Little House On The Prairie," "The Waltons," "Father Knows
Best," "Andy Griffith Show," or "The Bill Cosby Show." However,
movies with ratings of "PG", "R" and "X", should be considered
as dangerous ...
